Children's Ministry

Our Mission:
To assist families in connecting their children with God through
Jesus Christ.

The Children's Ministry philosophy of Stonebriar Community
Church is built upon the key verse, Mathew 19:14. "Let the little
children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom belongs to such as
these."
As a church, we are committed to assisting families in connecting their child
with God through Jesus Christ. Our ministry is slowly, but
continually, building an intentional seven-day
a week outreach ministry.
Our Strategy is...
Child centered
- To plan age appropriate activities that reinforce Biblical concepts via
games, toys, music, and crafts.
Creative
- To communicate spiritual truths to the children in a way that
captures their attention.
Application-Oriented
- To communicate the lesson to the children as it applies to them, answering the
question, "What does this mean to me?"
Fun
- What child can resist: "The Holy Day Show,"
"Captain Suction," Ker-Plunk, Connect Four, need we say more?
Relational
- To be committed to creating a safe, familiar environment in
order to build relationships with the children.
